The best way to live a life of purpose and meaning is to “start where you stopped.” Learn what that means in the article here.
We don’t always win and we don’t always get what we win. This post is about learning to be happy not merely in-spite of our losses but even because of them. True joy is not about outcomes but processes and attitudes.
“Happiness is not the belief that we need to change but the realization that we can.” Don’t change because you MUST, choose to change because you CAN.
“Happiness is not the belief that we need to change but the realization that we can.”
Change does not merely happen with the passage of time but requires deliberate energy and action. Just as an object at rest will remain at rest, so too will your life remain unchanged unless you harness the energy behind the desire for growth, mastery, happiness and change in order to transform yourself from where you are to where you want to be.
Start with Why and What. What do you want to become (or rather who do you want to become) and why. When you have your what and why, build your how. Pursuing the best version of you is the best and most honorable way to serve humanity and to improve the world.
